Nelle’s Apothecary is a Black woman–owned wellness practice founded on a single belief: that healing belongs to the people, and that the medicine we need has always grown all around us.
Ancestral knowledge, daily ritual.
Our remedies are guided by the wisdom of grandmothers, root workers, and healers whose hands taught us long before any book did. We work with ethically sourced and ancestrally significant plants — mullein, sea moss, hibiscus, sarsaparilla, calendula — and prepare every batch with care, intention, and prayer.
Nothing here is rushed. Tinctures macerate for weeks. Body butters are whipped slowly. Teas are blended in small jars by hand.
Wellness for the community — open to all.
We exist to make natural wellness, herbal remedies, and healthier living accessible to Black families and individuals of every age. And we welcome anyone, of any background, who is seeking a closer relationship with the earth and the plants that heal us.
Today we craft and ship from our home studio. Tomorrow, we’re building a brick-and-mortar apothecary — a gathering place where the community can come, learn, and heal together.
